2. Panel Interview with a Chief Superintendent and Gold Commander 

1. Please confirm you have discussed your readiness for promotion with your Inspector. 

1. Upon submission, the application will be reviewed by the relevant Gold or Silver Commander. 

2. This review will assess the applicant’s suitability, experience, and operational requirements of the force. 

1. Subject to approval, The applicant will be invited to complete a mandatory introduction command training to introduce the way command is worked and ensure access to relevant systems

The introduction to command is supplied by the College of Policing

2. The applicant will be offered an appropriate command position commensurate with their skills, accreditation, and current organisational need.
